Location: Chandigarh (with flexibility for remote engagement + travel for investor meetings)

Compensation: ₹20,000/month (retainer) + 0.5% ESOPs + 1% success fee on funds raised

Currently, Aupulent operates as a kiosk inside our Chandigarh flagship store along with a growing e-commerce presence . Our vision is to expand locally and nationally , building India’s most trusted lab-grown diamond brand.

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Advisor who will play a critical role in driving Aupulent’s next phase of growth . The primary responsibility of this role will be fundraising – engaging with angel investors, family offices, and venture capital firms to secure funding for scaling operations, marketing, and expansion.

This is a mission-critical role and requires a professional with a proven track record in raising funds for D2C brands and experience in scaling early-stage consumer businesses into high-growth companies.

The Advisor will be expected to achieve fundraising targets within 6 months of appointment, while also actively contributing towards strategic growth of the brand .

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute fundraising strategy for Aupulent Jewellery.
  • Actively engage, pitch, and network with angel investors, family offices, and venture capitalists .
  • Leverage personal networks and industry connections to secure investor meetings.
  • Prepare and refine investor presentations, pitch decks, and financial projections .
  • Negotiate terms and ensure smooth closure of investment rounds.
  • Work closely with the founder on a daily basis to guide strategic direction and accelerate growth.
  • Help grow the brand nationally and locally by providing guidance on scaling, marketing, and expansion.
  • Provide strategic inputs on D2C brand building, market positioning, and scaling operations .

Requirements

  • Proven track record of successfully raising funds (Rs. 1 Crore & above) from angel investors and/or venture capital firms (mandatory).
  • 7+ years of experience in D2C, consumer brands, investment, or startup advisory roles .
  • Strong network within the investor ecosystem.
  • Excellent negotiation, pitching, and relationship management skills.
  • Strategic thinker with hands-on experience in scaling early-stage brands.
  • Ability to dedicate consistent engagement (daily/weekly with founder) to push growth targets.
  • Willingness and ability to deliver fundraising success within 6 months .

Compensation Structure

  • ₹20,000/month (retainer).
  • 0.5% ESOPs in Onecarat OPC Pvt. Ltd. (vesting terms to be discussed).
  • 1% success fee on total funds raised and transferred to the company.
