Role Overview As a Sales Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in enhancing sales productivity, conducting competition market research, and providing analytical support to the sales team. You will be responsible for generating insightful reports and impactful presentations to drive strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities
• Sales Reporting & Analysis: Track, analyze, and report sales performance metrics to improve sales team efficiency.
• Presentation & Insights: Create compelling sales presentations, dashboards, and reports for leadership and stakeholders.
• Competitive Market Research: Conduct in-depth research on competitors, industry trends, and market dynamics to identify growth opportunities.
• Sales Team Support: Provide data-driven insights and support to optimize sales strategies, pipeline management, and business development efforts.
• CRM & Data Management: Maintain and analyze CRM data to ensure accuracy and provide actionable insights.
• Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to align business strategies.
Skills & Qualifications
• Analytical Mindset: Strong ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
• Proficiency in Reporting Tools: Experience with Excel, Google Sheets, and BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar).
• Presentation Skills: Expertise in creating impactful PowerPoint presentations for leadership discussions.
• Market Research Ability: Understanding of industry trends and competitor benchmarking.
• Problem-Solving Attitude: Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field from Tier 1 institution. Post Graduates will get higher weightage.
• 1-3 years of experience in a Sales Analyst, Business Analyst, or related role.
• Familiarity with sales processes, CRM platforms, and market research tools.
