Brief Job Description
Marketing Manager Wanted: Strategic Leadership Meets Full-Funnel Excellence
No Fluff is seeking a Marketing Manager to own and drive our comprehensive marketing strategy across all channels. You'll lead brand positioning, content strategy, digital marketing, campaign execution, and team management while ensuring every initiative drives measurable business results.
What You Will Be Doing
Strategic Leadership & Full-Stack Ownership
- Drive the strategic direction and execution across all marketing functions—brand, content, performance, and paid media
- Ensure all marketing initiatives align tightly with NoFluff's business goals and growth strategy
- Own brand positioning, campaign success, market reach, and engagement metrics
- Plan, allocate, and optimise marketing budgets across channels, keeping ROI and efficiency front and centre
- Champion a powerful, consistent brand voice across all customer touchpoints
Brand Management & Strategy
- Develop and execute a comprehensive brand strategy aligned with business objectives
- Maintain brand consistency across all touchpoints and communications
- Oversee brand positioning, messaging, and visual identity guidelines
- Lead market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic decisions
- Manage brand reputation and ensure all marketing reflects NoFluff's core philosophy
Content Marketing & Creative Direction
- Develop content strategy across all channels (social media, blog, email, website)
- Oversee content calendar planning and editorial workflow management
- Collaborate with creative teams to ensure high-quality, on-brand deliverables
- Lead content performance analysis and optimisation initiatives
- Ensure all content answers the audience's "What's In It For Me?" (WIIFM)
Digital Marketing & Campaign Management
- Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels
- Manage social media strategy and community engagement initiatives
- Oversee email marketing campaigns and automation sequences
- Oversee SEO strategy and content optimisation for search visibility
- Coordinate influencer partnerships and collaboration campaigns
Performance Marketing & PPC Excellence
- Lead paid campaign strategies across Meta, Google, and other relevant platforms
- Set, track, and optimise KPIs including CTR, ROAS, CPC, and Conversion Rate
- Allocate spend, monitor returns, and scale what works based on real-time data
- Ensure PPC campaigns align with broader marketing efforts for seamless customer journeys
Data-Driven Strategy & Analytics
- Define and oversee attribution models (first-touch, last-touch, multi-touch) across the customer journey
- Monitor KPIs across all marketing efforts using real-time dashboards and analytics
- Translate marketing analytics into actionable insights that fuel performance and growth
- Design end-to-end funnel strategies that balance brand storytelling, content creation, and performance metrics
Customer Lifecycle & Retention
- Oversee strategy for CRM, email, SMS, and loyalty programs to maximise retention and lifetime value
- Collaborate with Product and CX teams to gather insights and reduce churn
- Design tailored marketing for onboarding, engagement, reactivation, and retention stages
Marketing Operations & Technology
- Select, implement, and manage marketing technology stack (CRM, automation tools, analytics platforms)
- Establish marketing processes, workflows, and standard operating procedures
- Ensure compliance with data privacy laws, ad regulations, and platform guidelines
- Lead marketing automation initiatives to improve efficiency and scalability
- Evaluate and integrate AI tools for content creation, media buying, and analytics
Event Marketing & Partnership Development
- Plan and execute marketing events, webinars, and industry conferences
- Develop strategic partnerships and collaboration opportunities
- Manage sponsorship activities and trade show participation
- Coordinate client events and networking initiatives
- Lead PR and media relations activities
Requirements
- Proven marketing leadership – 4+ years of comprehensive marketing management experience across multiple channels and functions.
- Strategic expertise – Experience developing and executing integrated marketing strategies that drive measurable business results.
- Brand management mastery – Strong background in brand positioning, messaging, and maintaining a consistent brand identity across touchpoints.
- Content marketing proficiency – Demonstrated success in content strategy development, editorial planning, and content performance optimisation.
- Digital marketing expertise – Hands-on experience with social media marketing, email campaigns, SEO, and website optimisation.
- Performance marketing skills – Proficiency in Google Ads, Meta Ads, and other paid advertising platforms with budget management experience.
- Data-driven approach – Strong analytical skills with experience in marketing attribution, performance tracking, and ROI measurement.
- Marketing technology knowledge – Experience with CRM systems, marketing automation platforms, and analytics tools (Google Analytics, etc.).
- Team leadership experience – Proven ability to build, mentor, and manage marketing teams while fostering collaboration.
- Project management skills – Experience managing multiple campaigns and initiatives simultaneously with strong organisational abilities.
- Consumer psychology understanding – Knowledge of behavioural science applications in marketing and customer journey optimisation.
- Communication excellence – Strong presentation skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and clients.
