Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design management of multispecialty hospital projects from concept to completion.
  • Oversee master planning, space programming, schematic design, design development, and construction documentation in coordination with external consultants and internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure all design elements are compliant with national and international healthcare standards (e.g., NABH, JCI, FGI Guidelines).
  • Collaborate with clinical, operational, and engineering teams to ensure functionality, patient flow, and clinical efficiency are embedded in design.
  • Review and approve architectural and MEP drawings, ensuring integration and coordination across disciplines.
  • Manage relationships with architectural consultants, interior designers, landscape architects, and specialist healthcare planners.
  • Conduct regular design audits and resolve site-level design conflicts.
  • Evaluate project risks and propose solutions during the design phase to minimize cost escalations and delays.
  • Prepare and present design proposals and progress updates to senior management and board-level stakeholders.
  • Mentor junior architects and support knowledge sharing within the design team.

Key Requirements:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture (B.Arch) – Mandatory
  • Master's in Architecture / Healthcare Design / Project Management – Preferred
  • Registered Architect with Council of Architecture (COA), India

Experience:

  • Minimum 12–18 years of architectural experience, with at least 8 years in hospital/healthcare design.
  • Must have successfully led the design for at least three (3) multispecialty hospitals of 300+ beds.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare planning, medical equipment integration, infection control, and hospital operational workflows.

Skills:

  • Exceptional knowledge of hospital design standards and codes.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM-based coordination.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and manage competing priorities.
  • Eye for detail and a passion for design excellence.
