Senior Data Analytics Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Analytics Expert to lead the design and development of advanced analytics applications for our global supply chain organization.

This role requires hands-on expertise in data engineering, machine learning, and data science to drive key digital initiatives, lead multiple projects, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful solution delivery.

  1. Design and develop scalable, robust, reusable, and maintainable analytics and machine learning solutions for the supply chain organization across multiple strategic initiatives.
  2. Participate in fit-gap workshops, providing effort estimates and solution proposals.
  3. Develop and maintain code repositories, responding quickly to bug reports and security vulnerabilities.
  4. Collaborate extensively with colleagues across security, compliance, engineering, project management, and product management.
  5. Drive data enablement and build digital products/solutions according to business priorities and technology architects' alignment.
  6. Contribute towards major automation initiatives leveraging artificial intelligence and machine learning, cloud migration, data quality improvement, and business process simplification.
  7. Ensure solutions adhere to architectural and development standards, best practices, and the data and analytics strategy.

  3. Business impact and value generated from solutions.
  4. Adoption and development of agile productization and DevOps practices.
  5. Operations stability and effective risk management.
  6. Feedback on customer experience.
  7. Applications adherence to ISC requirements and are audit ready.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of prior programming experience in a professional environment, building applications across platforms.
  • Experience in working with complex landscapes and various integration capabilities.
  • Experience in customer-facing IT roles.
  • Strong data engineering fundamentals in data management, ETL, and data analysis.
  • Strong hands-on exposure in data & analytics solutions including artificial intelligence and machine learning projects.
  • AWS certification is preferred but not mandatory.
Skills
  • Highly proficient in data and analytics technology and solutions.
  • Excellent exposure in various machine learning use cases such as demand forecasting, spend forecasting, inventory optimization, route optimization, lead time prediction, recommendation, and optimization algorithms.
  • Experience in handling external datasets such as weather data, traffic data, flight schedule data etc.
  • Hands-on exposure with various AWS services.
  • Excellent working experience with data warehouse, data lake, lake house.
  • Exposure in SAP S/4 HANA, SAP BW/4HANA would be preferred but not mandatory.
  • Hands-on expertise in: AWS services, SQL, Python, Databricks, Snowflake, and Power BI.
  • Proficient in using: Jira, Confluence, GitHub, Bitbucket, SAP Solution Manager.
  • Excellent understanding of supply chain business process and KPIs would be preferred.
  • Ability to learn new technologies and functional topics in a very short period.
  • Ability to align complex technical topics across global IT and business teams.
  • Good grasp of the impacts and opportunities that data and technology will create for operations.
