People Tech Group — Data / Solution Architect

Role Overview

Lead the architecture of a cutting-edge GenAI and data platform, translating strategic goals into scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions. Own the full stack — from infrastructure to AI-powered applications — and guide technology decisions across cloud and on-prem environments.

Key Responsibilities

1. Platform & Vision

- Design layered reference architectures (infra → data → AI → app)
- Create north-star diagrams and articulate trade-offs (e.g., Spark vs Flink)

2. Data Layer

- Define canonical models and storage strategies (structured, blob, vector, graph)
- Architect data access gateways and orchestrate ETL, CDC, streaming pipelines

3. AI Layer

- Deploy GPU/CPU clusters and manage MLOps, LLMOps, and inference pipelines
- Govern vector stores and retrieval systems for RAG and agentic use-cases

4. Application Layer

- Define microservice contracts and API/AI gateways
- Oversee DevSecOps toolchain and release strategies (canary, blue-green)

5. Interoperability & Trade-offs

- Benchmark cloud vs on-prem solutions for performance and cost
- Publish Architecture Decision Records (ADRs) with PoC evidence

6. Governance & Security

- Implement zero-trust architecture and compliance mapping (GDPR, SOC 2)
- Build unified audit and lineage systems

7. Leadership & Enablement

- Chair Architecture Guild, mentor teams, and lead vendor/tool evaluations
- Present technical concepts to executive and non-technical stakeholders

Ideal Candidate Profile

- 10+ years in designing scalable cloud-native and on-prem data/AI platforms
- Deep expertise in modern data stacks and GPU-accelerated ML pipelines
- Strong grasp of Kubernetes, microservices, and DevSecOps automation
- Skilled in creating architecture diagrams and defending tech choices
- Excellent communicator with business-oriented thinking
