Job Title: SAP HANA Database Administrator

Job Location: Hyderabad/Bangalore

Experience Required: Minimum 5 years in SAP HANA DB Administration

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced SAP HANA Database Administrator to manage, design, and support robust database systems across multiple teams and environments. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of database administration including installation, configuration, performance tuning, security, and backup/recovery management. As a subject matter expert (SME), you will guide teams, contribute to critical decisions, and ensure high availability and integrity of data systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for SAP HANA database administration and management
  • Lead and coordinate database activities across teams, ensuring alignment with business objectives
  • Own and drive decisions within the team and support resolution of complex issues across teams
  • Ensure high standards of data security , backup , and disaster recovery strategies
  • Continuously optimize database performance , resource usage, and reliability
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and security teams to implement robust database solutions
  • Maintain and update documentation, processes, and procedures related to database systems
  • Provide support for testing, development, and production environments

Required Technical Skills:

  • Mandatory: Expertise in SAP HANA Database Administration
  • In-depth understanding of database architecture and internal processes
  • Proven experience in designing , implementing , and maintaining enterprise databases
  • Strong knowledge of database backup and recovery strategies
  • Familiarity with database security best practices and compliance standards

Additional Information:

  • This role is based out of our Pune office
  • Candidates must have completed 15 years of formal education
  • Strong communication and team collaboration skills are essential
