Lead - Talent Acquisition & Youth

As the Lead - Talent Acquisition & Youth, you will be responsible for driving the strategic direction of Talent Acquisition for Nestlé India. This role involves overseeing the entire recruitment lifecycle, developing and implementing innovative talent acquisition strategies, and ensuring alignment with the company's business objectives. You will lead a team and collaborate with business and functional stakeholders across the organization to attract, select, and hire top talent, fostering an inclusive and high-performing workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Talent Acquisition: Develop and execute comprehensive talent acquisition strategies to meet the evolving needs of the business. Align recruitment efforts with organizational goals and workforce planning initiatives. Partner with each business/function to have forecast and projection on hiring trends and skill needs in the function.- Leadership and Team Management & Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of talent acquisition partners. Foster a culture of high performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team. Build the subject market expertise in terms of TA philosophy and understanding of rewards in the context of attracting talent as well as being the bridge between market talent intelligence and internal context of the organization. This includes building foresight from a short to medium term perspective in terms of external hiring.- Employer Branding: Enhance Nestlé's employer brand through targeted initiatives, social media campaigns, and employee advocacy. Position Nestlé as an employer of choice in the market. Analyze sentiments on our brand, its standing amongst youth and experienced hires and drive initiatives that are first of its kind in Nestlé’s context. This is aligned to the business objective of creating a mindshare in the prospective talent as employer of choice. Target specific cohorts of the organization to focus the EB initiatives on – so as to support the talent attraction as well as retention strategies of the organization.- Diversity and Inclusion: Drive diversity and inclusion hiring initiatives to build a diverse talent pipeline. Implement strategies to attract and retain talent from various backgrounds and experiences. A strong partnership with the D&I teams and Business partnering team to drive the equity in hiring practices across the board spanning from targeted hiring, market mapping, proactive hiring to campaigns focused on employee advocacy and EB.- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with the Business Heads, Function Heads, their teams, HR business partners, rewards partners, and the shared services onboarding team to ensure a seamless talent inflow process at the right time with the right skills. Partnering and solutioning at organization level to solve for the buy challenges from short to medium term perspectives.- Campus and Youth Initiatives: Driving the campus strategy for Nestlé India through 11 training programs and flagship programs with the Campus and youth manager. This defines the standing of Nestlé India in the employer’s ranking. All youth programs – Internships, campus relations, trainee programs, youth upskilling initiatives like Nesternships are strategized by this role.- Accountability for Shared Services: Ensure the quality and efficiency of services provided by Nestlé Business Services (NBS), our in-house HR shared services team. Collaborate with NBS to streamline processes and enhance service delivery.- Workforce Planning Intelligence: Provide strategic workforce planning insights, including supply-demand gap analysis, efficiency and effectiveness projects, and inputs to Rewards on salaries and benefits that are market aligned. Utilize data to drive informed decision-making and optimize talent acquisition strategies.- Data-Driven Decision-Making: Leverage data analytics to inform and enhance recruitment strategies. Use data to measure the effectiveness of recruitment efforts, identify trends, and make evidence-based decisions. Ensure recruitment metrics, such as Time to Fill, Diversity, and Referrals, are tracked and analyzed to drive continuous improvement.- Market Talent Insights: Incorporate market talent insights on organizational design, talent supply, skills, market structures, and compensation. Use these insights to form recruitment strategies and ensure competitiveness in the talent market.- Recruitment Metrics: Maintain 100% data adherence and recruitment metrics, including Time to Fill, Diversity, and Referrals. Use analytics to measure the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and make data-driven improvements.- Strategic Vendor Partnerships for sourcing, assessments and benchmarking : Drive vendor relationships through TA partners, including evaluation and empanelment, to ensure successful strategic partnerships for recruitment in a cost-effective manner.- Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition. Implement innovative solutions to enhance the recruitment process and candidate experience. Technology enhancements and efficiency improvement projects also are driven by this role through various TA partners.- Custodian of EVP and Quality of Hire: Act as the custodian of the Employee Value Proposition (EVP) and ensure the quality of hires through scientific and robust assessment methodologies. Develop and implement strategies to attract top talent and maintain high standards in the recruitment process. Governance of the process is managed by this role.- Policy owner for Talent Acquisition, Campus and Internal Job Posting - Serve as the policy owner for Talent Acquisition, Campus Recruitment, and Internal Job Posting. Develop, implement, and maintain policies and procedures to ensure compliance and alignment with organizational goals.
