Job Summary: The MIS Executive is responsible for managing the company's

information systems, ensuring data accuracy, generating insightful reports, and

supporting various departments with their information needs. This role involves

maintaining and improving the MIS infrastructure, ensuring the integrity of data, and

providing timely and accurate reports to support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Management:

o Maintain and update databases to ensure data integrity and accuracy.

o Develop and manage efficient processes for data collection, storage, and

retrieval.

o Ensure timely and accurate entry of data into the MIS.

2. Reporting and Analysis:

o Generate regular and ad-hoc reports for various departments, including

sales, finance, production, and inventory.

o Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support

business decision-making.

o Provide actionable recommendations based on data analysis.

3. MIS System Maintenance:

o Ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of MIS systems and

software.

o Collaborate with IT to troubleshoot and resolve system issues.

o Implement system upgrades and enhancements as needed.

4. User Support and Training:

o Assist departmental users in understanding and utilizing MIS tools and

reports.

o Provide ongoing support to address user queries and issues.

5. Process Improvement:

o Identify opportunities to streamline and improve MIS processes.

o Develop and implement process improvements to enhance data accuracy

and efficiency.

o Collaborate with various departments to understand their MIS needs and

improve service delivery.

6. Compliance and Security:

o Ensure data security and compliance with company policies and industry

regulations.

o Implement measures to safeguard data against unauthorized access and

breaches.

o Maintain confidentiality and integrity of sensitive information.

Key Result Areas (KRAs):

1. Data Accuracy and Integrity:

o Maintain a high level of data accuracy in all reports and databases.

o Minimize data discrepancies and errors.

2. Timely Reporting:

o Deliver regular and ad-hoc reports within specified deadlines.

o Ensure that reports are comprehensive, clear, and actionable.

3. System Efficiency:

o Maintain optimal performance and availability of MIS systems.

o Reduce system downtime and response times for issue resolution.

4. User Satisfaction:

o Achieve high user satisfaction scores through effective support and

training.

o Address user queries and issues promptly and effectively.

5. Process Improvement:

o Implement at least two significant process improvements annually.

o Demonstrate measurable improvements in data management and

reporting efficiency.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related

field.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in an MIS or data management role.

Proficiency in database management, SQL, and reporting tools (e.g., Crystal

Reports, Tableau, Power BI).

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Familiarity with the jewelry or manufacturing industry is a plus.
