Feel free to enrich both your personal and work life and hop onboardWHY YOU’LL LOVE THIS JOB:The role is part of the PSA Tech Ops Division of the PSA Tech Services Center. This role involves developing and implementing process improvements, collaborating with various departments on technical issues, and maintaining technical documentation. WHAT YOU’LL DO:This list is intended to reflect the current job but there may be additional essential functions (and certainly non-essential job functions) that are not referenced. Management will modify the job or require other tasks be performed whenever it is deemed appropriate to do so, observing, of course, any legal obligations including any collective bargaining obligations.Analyze and resolve Minimum Equipment List (MEL) discrepancies Coordinate with Maintenance, Engineering, and Operations teams to resolve technical issues and implement solutionsDevelop and maintain technical documentation, including MELs, repair schemes, and other maintenance-related documentsConduct research and analysis to identify root causes of technical issues and implement corrective actionsDevelop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity in MEL completion and maintenance operationsOn a rotating basis provide 7 day a week coverage for the program within PSA’s fleet ALL YOU’LL NEED FOR SUCCESSMinimum Qualifications – Education & Prior Job Experience:Bachelor's degree in a technical field, such as Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field3 years of experience in aircraft maintenance, engineering, or a related fieldStrong knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and FAA guidelinesFAA 121 Airline Operator and associated FARs or equivalent experiencePreferred Qualifications – Education & Prior Job Experience:Experience with MEL completion and maintenance operationsKnowledge of PSA' maintenance procedures and policiesExperience with technical documentation and record-keeping Skills, Licenses, and Certifications:Strong technical knowledge of aircraft systems and maintenance proceduresExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong communication and collaboration skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency and attention to detail LANGUAGE / COMMUNICATION SKILLS:Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and written with all levels within the organizationPhysical ability necessary to safely and successfully perform the essential functions of the position, with or without any legally required reasonable accommodations that do not pose an undue hardship.
