Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Business Analyst with 7–10 years of expertise in data analytics, executive reporting, and operational strategy within the logistics or supply chain industry. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker who excels at handling large datasets, turning data into insights, and creating executive-level presentations that influence business outcomes.
As a senior contributor, you will work directly with department head and C-level leadership to support critical business decisions, optimize logistics operations, and provide data-backed guidance on performance and growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Data Matching & Integration: Ensure accurate data matching between various systems.
2. Data Validation & Quality Control: Perform rigorous validation of incoming and outgoing data.
3. Advanced Data Analysis: Utilize advanced statistical methods, SQL, and other tools to perform in-depth analyses.
4. Reporting & Dashboards: Design and generate clear, insightful reports and executive-level dashboards.
5. Carrier and Systems Analytics: Analyze carrier performance, delivery timelines, and cost efficiency.
6. Data-Driven Decision Support: Provide actionable insights and recommendations to logistics, operations, and client services teams.
7. Operational Optimization: Work with internal teams to identify inefficiencies and suggest data-driven improvements.
8. Client Interaction: Collaborate with clients to gather data requirements and communicate findings.
9. System & Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for automating data processes and improving data quality.
10. Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with multiple internal teams to ensure data integrity.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Supply Chain, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
2. 7-10 years of proven experience in a Business Analyst or Data Analyst role.
3. Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, SQL, and data visualization platforms.
4. Demonstrated experience working with large, complex datasets.
Preferred (Nice to Have):
1. Exposure to ERP, WMS, TMS systems and data integration platforms.
2. Knowledge of Python, R, or advanced analytical/statistical tools.
