Jira Administrator – 5 to 7 Years Experience

Role Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Jira Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize our Atlassian Jira environment. The candidate should have a strong understanding of Jira administration, workflows, custom fields, permissions, user management, and integration with other tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and maintain Jira projects, workflows, schemes, fields, and user permissions

·
• Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and configure Jira accordingly

·
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports

·
• Manage user access, groups, roles, and licensing

·
• Perform regular audits and clean-ups to ensure system health and compliance

·
• Assist in automation of recurring tasks using scripts (e.g., using ScriptRunner or REST APIs)

·
• Provide support and training to end-users

·
• Integrate Jira with Confluence, Bitbucket, CI/CD tools, and monitoring systems

·
• Manage system upgrades, plugin updates, and general maintenance

Required Skills:

·
• 5–7 years of hands-on Jira administration experience

·
• Proficiency in Jira project configuration and permission schemes

·
• Experience with ScriptRunner, Jira REST API, and automation rules

·
• Working knowledge of Confluence and Bitbucket

·
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

·
• Familiarity with Agile and ITSM practices

Preferred:

·
• Atlassian certifications (ACP-100 or similar)

·
• Experience in enterprise-scale Jira environments
