Principal Engineer

This role is with Worko.ai's client, a fast-growing unicorn startup in the logistics sector.
We are seeking a Principal Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for designing system architectures, driving technical excellence, and mentoring team members.
Required Experience: 8- 12 yrs of experience
Salary : 65-90 lpa
Loaction : Bangalore
Key Responsibilities
- System Architecture: Design system architectures, own High Level Design and Low Level Design, set goals for platform evolution, propose and drive technical innovation.
- Technical Excellence: Be responsible for system SLAs, metrics, and monitoring, set performance goals, help resolve production issues, and conduct capacity planning.
- Tech Mentoring: Drive and standardize patterns, set practices, conduct code reviews, and mentor a team of 10+ developers.
Requirements
- 8 - 12+ years of backend software engineering experience
- Experience in designing distributed systems based on event-driven architecture handling significant scale
- Experience in owning system performance metrics and system evolution
- Exposure to consumer-facing products
- Familiarity with our tech stack or an analogous tech stack
