Job Title: Senior HR & Finance Operations Specialist

Location: India – Remote

Shift Timing: UK Shift – 1:30 PM IST to 10:30 PM IST


About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Senior HR & Finance Operations Specialist to join our growing team. This role is designed as a 50-50 blend between back-end HR operations (payroll, compliance, documentation, joining coordination) and accounting support (bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial record management). The ideal candidate will ensure seamless HR operations while also contributing to accurate financial processes and compliance.


Key Responsibilities

HR Operations (50%)

  • Manage and monitor employee attendance records, ensuring accuracy in timesheets.
  • Administer and process payroll, including statutory deductions (PF, ESI, TDS, etc.).
  • Maintain and update leave management systems, ensuring fair and consistent implementation.
  • Handle employee queries related to payroll, compliance, and HR operations.
  • Support back-end HR activities such as onboarding documentation, employee records, and HR audits.
  • Drive the offer rollout process—drafting, releasing, and tracking offer letters.

Accounting & Finance (50%)

  • Perform bookkeeping tasks: maintaining ledgers, journal entries, and reconciliations.
  • Assist in preparing monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and P&L reports.
  • Manage accounts payable/receivable records and vendor payment processing.
  • Ensure accuracy of financial data entry in accounting software.
  • Support audits by providing necessary financial and compliance documentation.
  • Collaborate with finance teams on budgeting, tax filings, and compliance requirements.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or Business Administration.
  • 2–3 years of proven experience in HR operations (payroll, compliance, documentation, offer rollouts).
  • Hands-on experience in bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial record-keeping.
  • Knowledge of payroll software, accounting tools, Excel, and HRMS systems.
  • Familiarity with Indian labor laws and statutory compliance.
  • Strong analytical, attention-to-detail, and confidentiality skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
