Role Purpose:.
Lead Lo Foods' expansion into International Markets by developing and executing sales strategies, identifying key distribution channels, and ensuring compliance with regional regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Expansion & Strategy Development:
- Understand the distribution landscape in Indian ethnic channels and modern/mainstream trade in Asia-Pacific, Middle East, South East Asia, and the US.
- Develop geography and channel-specific strategies to achieve growth objectives.
- Build and execute a detailed sales strategy and market entry plan.
Distribution & Partnerships:
- Identify and onboard distributors for each international region.
- Participate in key exhibitions & trade events to establish distributor networks.
- Develop and maintain strong connects with international distribution channels.
Compliance & Product Readiness:
- Work with consultants and regulatory teams to ensure products meet local regulations.
- Coordinate with R&D, production, and packaging teams to ensure compliance with international requirements.
Sales & Trade Marketing Execution:
- Create and implement trade promotion plans to drive market penetration.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop region-specific brand marketing plans.
- Ensure a seamless sales execution process, tracking consumer & retail feedback for continuous improvement.
Financial & Payment Management:
- Build and evaluate the P&L feasibility for each market.
- Oversee payment cycles, credit management, and minimize returns.
Desired Experience & Skills:.
- 5+ years of Sales & Business Development experience in the FMCG Food industry.
- 3+ years of International Sales experience in Packaged Foods.
- Exposure to Middle East, South East Asia, and US markets (preferred).
- Strong network & connects in International distribution channels.
- Experience in new market entry & expansion strategies.
