If you'd like to help us build the place where everyone can find and buy anything online in the region, this is your chance to make history.ResponsibilitiesManage inventory, inventory health, item-level forecasting, assortment planningParticipate in manufacturer and vendor reviews; drive vendor operational improvement through measurement and process improvementInteract with operations teams and drive efficiencies through team collaborationManage inbound shipments: fill rate, ASNs, operational issues, lead timeAchieve and maintain high in-stock rates on replenishment programsAnalyze inventory position and SKU performance to determine inventory liability, determine an exit strategy for unproductive inventoryRequirementsStrong proficiency in analysis tools including Microsoft Excel, Access, and SQLExperience working with large and complex data sets to drive business decisionsProven ability to manage large and complicated cross-functional projectsExperience in negotiating with internal and external stakeholdersDemonstrated ability to manage multiple projects – to prioritize and plan under tight deadlinesHighly analytical individual, flexible, action and results-oriented, self-starting, and comfortable with computer databases and tools.Basic QualificationsExperience with cross-functional teams and/or carriers/vendors for implementation of project/program requirements.Strong Data analysis/Microsoft Excel/SQL skillsRelevant experience of 5+ yearsDegree in Business, Finance or Operations Management required, MBA preferredExperience in business process improvement, Lean/Six Sigma a strong plus.Experience in technical requirements gathering and the ability to document technical requirements is a strong plusAbility to work effectively & independently in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlinesDemonstrated ability to be a big picture thinker, strategist & long-term plannerOutstanding attention to detail; Exceptional problem solving & analytical skillsExcellent communication skills at all levels with the ability to present information professionally & concisely with supporting dataWho will excel?The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a fast-paced, multi-tasked, high energy environment.
