Our experiences in retail and supply chain product strategy, technology, and operations have helped organizations succeed in their e-commerce and digital transformation journeys.We’re looking for a Senior WMS Developer (C / Pro*C) to help enhance and modernise core Warehouse Management System (WMS) platforms. You’ll design, develop, and optimize high-performance systems that power large-scale warehouse operations and automation environments.Key ResponsibilitiesCore Development (60%)Design, develop, and maintain core WMS components using C, Pro*C, and Catalyst frameworkImplement complex warehouse business logic (allocation, picking, putaway, inventory)Optimize database transactions and performance using Oracle embedded SQLMaintain clean, modular, and well-documented codeParticipate in code reviews and enforce quality standardsIntegration & Collaboration (20%)Integrate WMS with automation systems (Exotec, Bastian AutoStore, etc.)Collaborate with Python/Django teams for C-Python integrationPartner with DB developers to fine-tune Pro*C SQL performanceEngage with operations teams to align business and technical requirementsTechnical Leadership (15%)Mentor junior developers in C and WMS developmentLead technical design and architecture discussionsContribute to modernization and refactoring initiativesDocument design patterns and core architectural principlesRequired QualificationsTechnical Skills:7+ years of C programming or Oracle Pro*C, including memory management and Unix/Linux systemsStrong SQL and PL/SQL expertise, with focus on performance tuningExperience with high-volume OLTP systems and transaction managementDomain Expertise:Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) like Catalyst, Manhattan, Blue Yonder, HighJump, SAP EWM (preferred but not mandatory)Solid grasp of warehouse operations, automation, and RF integrationsUnderstanding of supply chain and logistics principlesProfessional Experience:7–10 years total software development experienceProven track record delivering robust enterprise solutions in production
