Job Description for Sales Manager - Gold Loan

Position: Sales Manager - Gold Loan
Location: Bareilly
Reports To: Branch Manager / Regional Sales Head
Department: Sales
Experience Required: 5+ years in sales management, with experience in financial services or gold loans

Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Management: Lead and manage a team of Relationship Managers and Sales Executives to achieve gold loan sales targets.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive gold loan disbursements and expand the customer base.
  • Training and Development: Provide continuous training to the sales team on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer relationship management.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify potential customer segments and emerging trends in the gold loan industry.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track the sales team's performance and take corrective actions when required to ensure target achievement.
  • Client Relationship Management: Assist the team in building strong relationships with clients and resolving any escalated issues related to loan processing or disbursements.
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure the sales team follows all compliance regulations and processes related to gold loan offerings, minimizing risk and defaults.
  • Reporting & Forecasting: Prepare sales forecasts and reports for management, outlining progress toward targets, challenges, and opportunities.

  • Expertise in sales strategies, budgeting, and forecasting
  • In-depth knowledge of gold loan products, market dynamics, and financial services
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to drive performance and manage sales operations
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, with at least 2 years in a managerial role, preferably in financial products like Gold Loans
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing sales team.
