Position: Placement Officer / Assistant Manager – Placements - Online PGDMLocation: NoidaReporting To: Head – Placements - Noida Campus / Dean - Online PGDMExperience Required:Junior Placement Officer - Online PGDM: 3-4 yearsorAssistant Manager – Placements - Online PGDM: 5–7 yearsRole OverviewThe Junior Placement Officer / Assistant Manager – Placements - Online PGDM will play a pivotal role in building and sustaining strong relationships with corporate partners, industry leaders, and recruiters to ensure successful student placements of the Online PGDM across India. The incumbent will be responsible for guiding Online PGDM students through the placement process, equipping them with the necessary skills, and creating opportunities in leading organizations.Key Responsibilities:Corporate Relations & NetworkingBuild, maintain, and expand a strong network of industry contacts and recruiters across diverse sectors.Actively identify, approach, and engage new companies for online/onsite recruitment drives.Develop long-term partnerships with organizations to ensure repeat placement opportunities.Placement ManagementOrganize, coordinate, and manage placement drives, and industry interaction sessions.Negotiate with organizations on profiles, compensation, and placement logistics.Ensure timely communication and smooth execution of placement processes.Student Engagement & Career SupportMentor and counsel students on career choices, placement preparedness, and industry expectations.Help trainers/career advisors on pre-placement training sessions (mock interviews, group discussions, resume building, etc.).Address student concerns regarding placement and provide guidance for career progression.Data & ReportingMaintain updated databases of students, recruiters, and placement statistics.Generate periodic placement reports for management, accreditation, and external stakeholders.Track and evaluate placement outcomes against defined benchmarks.Collaboration & BrandingOrganize industry panels, guest lectures, and networking events to enhance brand visibility.Represent the Online side of the Business School in industry forums, HR summits, and networking platforms.Qualifications & SkillsMaster’s Degree in Business Administration / Human Resource Management / related field preferred.Proven track record of 4–7 years in placements, corporate relations, or career services in academic institutions or corporate L&D.Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.Extensive industry connections and ability to network effectively.High emotional intelligence to counsel and motivate students.Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines.Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with placement management systems (preferred).Preference will be given to candidates who have prior experience in managing online student placements or working with student placement processes in the EdTech sector. Such experience will be considered valuable in effectively coordinating virtual recruitment activities, liaising with recruiters, and supporting students in securing suitable opportunities.Key AttributesRelationship builder with industry foresight.Student-centric mindset with mentoring ability.Negotiation and persuasion skills.Professional demeanor with integrity and accountability.
