  • He/she should be capable of running the existing packages developed for data upload for doing the regular SQL Server related uploads. Troubleshooting and resolving any issues faced during data uploads which need to be done with strict timelines. Should have experience in running SQL queries for checking existence of data before uploading, updating, deleting data carefully as per business requirement.
    • He/she should have the ability to develop new packages, functions, procedures, create database, tables and other db. objects based on business requirement. Coordinating with vendor support team for DB Patching, DB Health Check-up and any other activity related to Databases to be completed on time as per schedule. Monitoring, troubleshooting, solving any issues related to Database Backups, Scheduled Jobs, Connectivity, Space, Performance etc.
      • Taking care of any DB requirements related to existing and new business applications in the UAT and Production environment. Helping vendors support teams and users for any issues related to databases.
        • Providing support to assigned Corporate Applications. Coordinating with internal IT Support and external vendor support teams to get the timely resolution of corporate applications issues/queries. Familiarity with Indian Mutual Fund industry, Bloomberg, any CRM OR ERP software knowledge will be good though not mandatory. Exposure to cloud-based applications and on-premises applications including web based and client server architecture.
          • Completing the documentation and other formalities related to assigned role, participating in BCP DR Drills, various audits and any other responsibilities assigned.

Knowledge & Qualifications required

Academic Qualifications:

  • B.E./B.Tech./MCA/M.Sc. in Computer Science/IT or related stream.
  • Professional qualification: Microsoft/ORACLE Certification, ITIL

Minimum Work Experience:

  • Min 5 years of work ex
  • Microsoft SQL Server Development, Maintenance, Support related experience.
  • Experience in MySQL, Oracle databases will be an added advantage. Experience of Corporate Application Support
