Job Description :

Data Architect at Sigma Computing is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and infrastructure to support the company's data-driven initiatives.

Key responsibilities include :

- Data Pipeline Development: Designing and implementing efficient data pipelines for ingesting, processing, and transforming large volumes of structured and unstructured data.

- Data Modeling and Architecture: Creating and maintaining data models, schemas, and database structures to support analytical and operational use cases.

- Data Integration and API Development: Building and maintaining integrations with internal and external data sources and APIs, ensuring compatibility and interoperability between different systems and platforms.

- Data Infrastructure Management: Configuring and managing data infrastructure components, including databases, data warehouses, data lakes, and distributed computing frameworks.

- Collaboration and Documentation: Working closely with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver tailored solutions, while documenting technical designs and workflows.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.

- Total years of experience - 10+ years

- Working experience in Sigma Computing

- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Java.

- Strong SQL skills; experience with NoSQL databases is a plus.

- Experience with big data tools and distributed systems (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).

- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

- Ready to work in UK shift (2pm-11pm IST)
