What We're Looking For

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Accounts Receivable to lead our revenue operations and reconciliation processes. This is a critical leadership role that requires deep expertise in both B2B and marketplace revenue, with a focus on ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and scalability in our fast-paced quick commerce environment.

Key Responsibilities Revenue Recognition & Management

● Lead end-to-end B2B and Marketplace revenue recognition processes ensuring compliance with accounting standards

● Oversee advertisement monetization revenue streams and ensure accurate tracking and recognition

● Design and implement robust revenue assurance frameworks for multiple business verticals Reconciliation & Process Excellence

● Drive marketplace reconciliations across multiple platforms and partners

● Manage payment gateway reconciliations for high-volume transactions

● Lead GMV to Cash reconciliation processes ensuring zero variance

● Oversee liquidation processes and recovery mechanisms Cross-functional Collaboration

● Partner closely with Tech Product teams to build scalable AR solutions and automation

● Collaborate with Tax team on GST compliance and revenue reporting requirements

● Work with GL teams to ensure seamless month-end and year-end closures

● Interface with business teams to understand new revenue models and implement appropriate accounting treatments Team Leadership & Strategy

● Build and lead a high-performing AR team capable of handling rapid business growth

● Develop and implement AR policies, procedures, and best practices

● Drive process improvements and automation initiatives

● Provide strategic insights on revenue trends and collection patterns to senior management

Required Qualifications Education & Certification

● Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) - Mandatory

● Additional certifications in revenue management or financial systems preferred Experience

● 7-10 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting

● Minimum 5 years in leadership roles managing AR/revenue functions

● Preferred: Prior experience in E-commerce, marketplace, or startup environments

● Experience with high-volume B2C transactions and complex B2B revenue models Technical Skills ● Advanced knowledge of revenue recognition standards (Ind AS 115/IFRS 15)

● Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP)

● Strong Excel and data analysis capabilities
