Role Overview:

We are seeking a Data Lifecycle Management (DLM) Analyst with 3-5 years of experience to support data management activities across multiple business divisions. This role involves data retention, archiving, disposition requirements, risk management, and documentation. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, assist in the identification of risks, and help ensure compliance with data management policies.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and document data retention, archiving, and disposition requirements.
  • Conduct analysis and regular reviews with business and technology teams.
  • Identify and mitigate data management risks, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Compile and track progress on implementation of data management strategies.
  • Represent the DLM team in cross-functional meetings, communicating key policies and requirements.
  • Develop process improvements and collaborate with teams to implement business and technical solutions.

Required Skills:

  • 3-5 years' experience in data management, information management, or a related field (e.g., financial services).
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Attention to detail and ability to document complex data management requirements.
  • Experience in business analysis, process improvement, and working with cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor's degree.

Nice to Have:

  • Degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Knowledge of data protection/privacy regulations and experience with data privacy laws.
  • Familiarity with database/cloud technologies, AI, and reporting tools (Tableau/Power BI).
  • Experience with large-scale data sets.
