Business Analyst - Performance Attribution Experience: 9+ yearsLocation: Bengaluru About the Role We are seeking a seasoned Business Analyst with a strong understanding of investment performance and attribution systems. The ideal candidate will bridge business and technology teams to ensure effective delivery of data-driven solutions for fund performance analysis and reporting. Key Responsibilities Work closely with business users, portfolio managers, and data engineering teams to gather and document functional and technical requirements. Analyze and translate performance attribution and investment data concepts into clear business and system specifications. Collaborate on solution design, ensuring alignment with performance, benchmark, and attribution methodologies. Support data validation, UAT, and production releases by defining test cases and verifying results. Track and manage changes, dependencies, and issues across the performance attribution workflows. Prepare process documentation, data flow diagrams, and business rules for ongoing enhancements. Required Skills & Experience 11+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in Asset Management / Investment Banking / Financial Data Projects. Strong knowledge of Performance Attribution, Benchmarks, Portfolio Analytics, or Fund Reporting. Hands-on experience in SQL and comfort working with large data sets. Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with technical and business stakeholders. Experience working in Agile or hybrid project environments. Preferred (Good to Have) Exposure to FactSet, Bloomberg, or similar attribution platforms. Familiarity with Data Engineering workflows (e.g., Redshift, Databricks, Autosys, ETL tools). Understanding of cloud migration and data transformation initiatives.
