Team management experience is a prime requisite, must certainly have managerial attributes and experience in handling cross functional teams Should ensure the smooth functioning of technical operations, supervise and evaluate team progress, assist with training requirement, set goals, and ensure overall customer satisfaction. Should have the ability to lead a team of Associate Technical Managers, Technical sales specialists and keep their activities aligned to the South Asia goals Should be the second level of support to the team in answering their queries and supporting them in customer interactions Will continuously interact with the Sales, Business development teams and make sure that the TSS team priorities are aligned to South Asia sales numbers Consistently and accurately update and monitor sales forecasting, pipeline management and sales tracking through the use of and other designated IT tools. Conduct trainings for internal teams, channel partners and customers. Will need to present in Scientific Forum such as conferences, technical seminars and Product launch events Should be able to delegate the tasks and achieving daily, weekly, and monthly goals Identifying the risks and forming contingency plans as soon as possible. Additional responsibilities will include Analysis of Sales report and raising any red flags on product line performances, suggesting remedial focus actions and implementing the action plan Would be responsible for Collecting tender information, making sure right tenders are pitched for and keeping a record of Win / loss for the tenders

Education & Qualification:

Postgraduate or PhD in science. Minimum of 10 years of techno-commercial experience in the analytical / life sciences Industry with people managerial capabilities are desired. Highly motivated and competitive; ambitious for a successful sales career. Flexible to travel.
