Leadership Development Manager

What does a Leadership Dev Manager do? A Leadership Development Manager oversees the design, implementation, and evaluation of programs aimed at developing leadership skills within an organization.

Imagine yourself going to work with one thing on your mind: you want to benchmark against the best Leadership Development practices in the Industry and ensure that TaskUs is always ahead of the competition. As you tackle your new tasks for the day, you know that it will lead to one thing: you will review, design, and deploy the leader's learning agenda globally.

As the Leadership Development Manager you will be responsible for identifying leadership development needs, creating training materials and workshops, coaching employees, evaluating program effectiveness, and collaborating with HR and other departments to align leadership development initiatives with organizational goals. You would often be required to provide guidance and support to aspiring leaders, facilitate leadership workshops or seminars, and stay updated on industry trends in leadership development practices. You will perform other job-related assignments that may be assigned from time to time.

Do you have what it takes to become a Leadership Development Manager?

Responsibilities (including, but not limited to)

Develop, implement, administer, and maintain Leadership dev programs, policies, and interventions

Ensure that the Dev programs comply with the relevant stakeholder demands

Recommend new Interventions/programs to People Strategy leadership by studying Leader's requirements, industry trends, and leadership development offered by competitors.

Supports management's decision-making process by analyzing existing Leadership Dev programs and doing cost/ budget analysis.

Experience in Vendor management is a must in this role

Manages expectations of stakeholders by coaching, counseling, and mentoring employees.

Resolves the Leader's questions and problems by understanding the current policies, procedures, and programs.

Working with third-party vendors to negotiate state-of-the-art learning interventions wherever required.

Develop communication strategies to ensure that Leaders understand and are aware of the Programs offered by the organization

Ensure that all the learning assets are always up-to-date and accurate

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience preferred.

5+ years of professional experience in Learning & Development

3+ years of Leadership Development experience in a global company

Independent, self-motivated, and detail-oriented; excellent problem-solving skills 

Advanced spreadsheet (Excel, Google Sheets) and presentation skills (PowerPoint, Google Slides)

In-depth knowledge of Leadership Development practices including tools and techniques required for a leader's learning agenda

Relevant certifications, such as Situational Leadership, Gallup's Strengths finder, EI from Goleman, Coaching and Mentoring techniques(GROW Model) preferred

Experience with tools such as MBTI, DISC, Hogan, and Neuroscientific principles 

Stakeholder management experience is a must

Strong people and project management skills.
