Job Title: Taxation Associate – UK

Location: Ahmedabad

Work Timings: 10:30 AM – 7:30 PM (1st, 3rd, and 5th Saturdays off)

Job Type: Full-time

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain clients' books of accounts, including processing sales and purchase invoices, recording administrative expenses, and performing bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare and maintain accounting records, including monthly, quarterly, and half-yearly management accounts as per client requirements.
  • Prepare and submit VAT returns accurately and within deadlines.
  • Analyze general ledgers, post reclassification entries, and perform year-end adjustments for finalization of company accounts.
  • Generate reports and file statutory accounts with HMRC and Companies House.
  • Prepare timesheets and process payroll for clients as required.
  • Prepare and file Self-Assessment Tax Returns in compliance with HMRC guidelines.
  • Communicate effectively with practice clients to manage day-to-day workflows, resolve queries, and ensure timely, error-free delivery of tasks.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision, ensuring high levels of accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • CA Inter, CMA Inter, ICWA, or CA Finalist
  • 1 to 4 years of experience in UK finalization, CT600, and Self-Assessment Tax Returns
  • Proficiency in UK accounting and taxation procedures
  • Strong communication skills in written and spoken English (preferred)
