Gm Sales & Marketing Specialty Chemicals & Inks
- To manage Sales team and report to President
- Integrate the Sales Function (Pricing Method, Relationship with Customers, Cost Structure/Managing Product-profit)
- Utilize the Production Capacity
- Managing the team to drive forward looking Sales strategies to grow the business by acquiring and developing new customers for our Products of Coating Resins with focus on Global Key Accounts and Local Paint and Coating Customers in India, SAARC countries (Pricing, Cost-Management/Analysis, Price-Negotiation with Customers, Management of Product-profit, Budget making, and making a Sales Projection monthly and Quarter basis, etc.)
- Develop and strengthen the team in terms of communication and motivation; To take over Sales & Marketing Function
- Maintain an excellent understanding of the technical applications of our new & existing products and regularly update the knowledge about the product line-up
- Generate business support information which includes monitoring of key competitors, market statistics and trends to support business decision making
Job Requirements :
- Excellent knowledge for Paint, Coating Resins industries, and Chemical industries
- Minimum 5 years of relevant Management experience in Paint or Ink Industry
- A strategic thinker and has excellent influencing skills to inspire others to achieve business goals
- Proactive and ability to identify opportunities for positive changes
- Self-motivated and possess a strong drive to be challenged and to achieve
- Excellent negotiation skills, assertive communication skills, and very results oriented
- Excellent Analysis skills, to manage Budget and make Sales projection.
- Demonstrated the ability to work with people at any level in an organization
- Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills
- Establish a positive reputation as a valuable business partner committed to our customers' success
- Build a positive and long-term relationship with existing key customers to retain and to motivate them to further develop existing business and explore opportunities in new potential business segment
- Implement continuous business performance evaluations and improvements, to ensure a high level of customer's satisfaction and retention
Role and Responsibilities :
Financial Focus :
1. Prepare for the Annual Sales Budget and stick to the approved Budget.
2. Responsible for Monitoring and Controlling a Daily, Monthly Sales and Customer Requirements.
3. Responsible for Receipt of Payment in monthly basis and the management for the pricing
4. Responsible to prepare for Forecast in monthly and Quarterly.
5. Monitoring and Controlling of SCM (Supply Chain Management) like Stock, PO, and Shipping Status.
Customer Focus :
6. GKA Customers are Nippon Paints, PPG, BASF, Kansai Nerolac, Axalta, and Akzo, and etc.
7. RKA Customers are ICA Pidilite, MRF, Indigo, Jubilant, Asiatech, Carbolin, Vibgyor, and etc.
8. Keep in Touch with and Visit Customers constantly to keep an Instore Share for each Customer
9. Seek the possibilities to explore the New Customers and New Application
10. Propose Relevant Products against Customer's Requirements
11. Price Negotiation with Customers to Keep the Profit Level
12. Managing the Payment Collection from each Customer
System Focus :
13. Analysis all about Sales related (sales, payment), downloaded by Tally (future by SAP)
14. Update and Manage SFA (Sales Force Automation) for Marketing Activities
15. Manage the Price calculation sheet and Price transition sheet
People Focus :
16. Provide leadership to the Sales & Marketing in order to lead the company to the right direction.
17. Focus on Team building and people development on continuous basis.
18. Lead the Sales & Marketing team , Plan for Training & Development, KRA , Performance Appraisal and motivational scheme to ensure to achieve Budget
Report Requirements :
19. Daily Assembly, Monthly Report & Quarterly Report.
20. Budget Presentation
21. Marketing Presentation (3C-Analysis, SWOT-Analysis, etc. )
22. Sales Expansion Plan in Short, Mid and Long term
23. AR Report (management for the Payment Receipt)
Required Knowledge (of any equipment / Tools and techniques / Software) :
1. Knowledge about Paint Industries.
2. Management Skill (Sales & Marketing)
3. Knowledge about SAP, Tally, and SFA (Sales Force Automation)
Education & Experience :
Education : B. Tech - Paint Technology (Chemical Engineering with Coating & Paint Industry)
Experience :15-20 years in Paint Industrial experience
Competencies / Skills :
Essential :
1) Handling of Multiple Functions (Sales/Marketing/Feasibility Study/Project Management)
2) Excellent Man management skill.
