Cognizant is seeking a Solutioning & Delivery Leader responsible for our Global Growth Markets (GGM), Europe and Asia Pacific, geography across the Digital Engineering (DE) and Digital Experience (DX) practices within our $8B (global) Software & Platform Engineering business. This leader would be accountable for overall SBU solution development, delivery, and customer success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Cross-Industry Delivery and Solutioning leader in GGM for DE/DX, particularly specializing in outsourcing, modernization and genAI across verticals.
• Delivering accelerated business value creation for our clients by bringing together Industry knowledge and Technology innovation.
• Build and nurture deep relationships with C level in all the regions within GGM
• Ensure offerings incorporated in solutions that best address customer needs and business requirements. Demonstrate business value of proposed solutions to customers and deliver as per budget and plan.
• Identification of Solution themes to develop optimal winnable and deliverable solutions, incorporating the best benchmarks and capabilities in the industry and within Cognizant.
• Identify opportunities for Cognizant in customer's enterprise information technology.
• People leader who will build a high-performing growth-oriented team that drives client value creation.
• Work with teams in a matrixed structure to meet plan without sacrificing quality.
Critical Skills & Abilities
• Cross Industry Digital, modernization, cloud and genAI skills.
• Identify and evaluate value-add alternatives and provides solutions for those alternatives.
• Consider client’s growth path, scalability, client IT strategy and business impact.
• Leverage Alliance partner offerings and directions, current industry trends and client facing skills with at least CIO/CTO levels.
Technology Skills:
• Demonstrates deep strategic knowledge of technology in Digital, modernization, particularly cloud and legacy, skills in Mainframe modernization will be an added plus. Needs to be skilled in modernization of application as well as infrastructure in the cloud.
• Applies broad understanding of technical innovations and trends to solving customer business problems.
• Must demonstrate cloud modernization solutioning/delivery for multiple opportunities with one at least $50m and above.
• Proven experience in managing large proposals with multi-Service lines and leading / managing activities in a dynamic environment especially working in onshore/offshore model.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in technology, MBA, or equivalent experience
• Overall, 25+ years of experience in large scale delivery/solutioning role.
• Minimum 10+ years in senior leadership role.
• Exposure to supporting large offshore clients, ideally in Europe or APAC.
• Platforms / tools and solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
• Preferred background – Senior leadership role in project and product management. Deep technical expertise across competency areas, experiences managing large global teams. Domain expertise across verticals,
• Certification in cloud, GenAI will be an added plus.
