An Associate HR Operations Generalist, is an essential part of the HR team, supporting various operational aspects of the employee lifecycle. The role involves assisting in tasks related to recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, HRIS management, and employee record maintenance. The role requires attention to detail and organisational abilities to contribute to the smooth execution of HR operations.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Supports with HR processes, including recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, employee relations, performance management, and offboarding.
  • Assists with ensuring HR activities and processes are in full compliance with relevant employment laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Receives detailed instructions to use HR data to generate insights, trends, and metrics that inform decision-making and drive improvements.
  • Contributes to organisational change initiatives within HR operations, providing guidance to employees during transitions.
  • Works with other departments to align HR strategies with organisational objectives and ensure seamless operations.
  • Works with HRIS software for data management, reporting, and analysis, ensuring data accuracy and integrity within the HRIS.


Knowledge, Skills and Attributes:

  • Basic understanding of HR processes, policies, and best practices across various functions, including recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, employee relations, performance management, and offboarding.
  • Basic understanding of HRIS software and tools for efficient data management, reporting, and analytics.
  • Basic understanding HR data to generate meaningful insights and present key metrics to inform strategic decisions.


Academic Qualifications and Certifications:
Required Experience:

  • Basic experience in HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, employee relations, performance management, and offboarding.
  • Familiarity with HRIS software and other HR-related software tools
  • Basic experience as an HR administrative assistant or HR administrator
  • Basic administrative support experience
