ESG Marketing Role


Role Objective:
- The incumbent shall be responsible for ensuring successful long term strategic development of a range of initiatives within Lodha's Social and Environmental Impact portfolio, in line with the needs and behaviours of audiences for each programme and the objectives of the business.

- They shall represent the 'voice of the customer' (in this case, various audiences for the different Social and Environmental Impact initiatives) and be an ESG champion in the company; responsible for growing brand love and brand equity for Lodha, through the growth in awareness and understanding for our impact initiatives.

- The Social and Environmental Impact brand manager should be a motivated marketer, passionate about using his/ her skills to have a positive impact on society and the environment, and an energetic ambassador for using their capabilities to do good. They should be knowledgeable in the areas of sustainability, philanthropy, education, women's' empowerment and overall ESG.

- This role will reach across many of the touchpoints of brand Lodha to ensure that the environmental and social impact messaging is understood by all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan and execute the annual marketing calendar with the ESG + Non-sales Marketing Head and the heads of the respective Social and Environmental Impact teams.

- Ideate and execute marketing initiatives including both digital and offline communications and events, managing budgets, timelines, creative development and agency relationships.

- Help develop the communications strategy and objectives for the ESG 'master brand' as well as for the individual initiatives.

- Set clear and measurable marketing objectives. Plan and execute the ATL/BTL campaigns along with partners.

- Leverage research, data and consumer / market trends to develop deeper audience understanding and create effective marketing plans.

- Support the overall ESG narrative at Lodha and contribute to driving a positive impact on Indian society.

- Set and monitor KPIs for how brand Lodha achieves its ESG marketing objectives.

- Coordinate across functions internally for his/her initiatives and projects.

- Work closely with other ESG brand managers to ensure all ESG-related projects come together to create a strong and cohesive message for brand Lodha.

- Conduct internal trainings and activations to ensure that Lodha associates are aware of and are able to support the company's social impact goals.

- Guide the Social Impact project team in how best to leverage comms activations and marketing initiatives in their programme development.

- Knowledge sharing and skill building as required, on product and on the other facets that will ensure a more capable team

- Handle team concerns / escalations to ensure that business is not affected

- Report to ESG Marketing Head on progress and results of marketing activities.

Skills: Attention to detail, excellent communication abilities, organizational skills, systematic approach to work, team player with ability to lead large teams with matrix connections and strategic approach to problem solving.

Qualification: Graduation/MBA

Practice and Other Requirements: 6-8 years of work experience (out of which minimum 4 years in brand management) in NGO/ Social Impact / Non-profit Organisations / in CSR/ ESG team
