Our Vision for The School:

Project MISA (Making International Schooling Accessible) is a visionary initiative aimed at revolutionizing education in Tier 2 cities of India. Rooted in the recognition of the educational gaps prevalent in these cities, MISA envisions the establishment of schools that provide global education while addressing the specific needs and challenges of the local communities. The inception of Project MISA stemmed from a deep understanding of the educational landscape in Tier 2 cities, characterized by limited opportunities, traditional teaching methods, and a dearth of quality infrastructure and trained educators. Recognizing the potential of these cities and their burgeoning populations, we envisioned MISA as a catalyst for change, leveraging innovation, inclusivity, and excellence to transform the educational paradigm. Central to the vision of Project MISA is the belief that every child deserves access to high-quality education that prepares them for success in an increasingly interconnected and fast changing world.

Role Overview:

As one of the Founding Team members this role envisions a passionate, experienced and strategic-minded professional to join us for the Strategy and Program Management Lead position. This role will be responsible for driving strategic initiatives, managing key programs, driving collaborations and partnerships to support the mission and growth objectives of the Program management for the first two schools plus a pre-school to get them off ground as per the targeted timelines

- Collaborate with cross-functional team (including architecture, construction, academic, legal, operations and marketing) to develop integrated strategies and operational plans for successful start of the one-of-its kind schools

- Monitor programs performance and outcomes, track KPIs and provide regular reports and updates

- Develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives to advance the organization's mission and long-term goals in the education sector

- Lead the design, development and implementation of projects with respect to Technology, Partnerships & Alliances, LTV products

- Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities, trends, competitive landscape in the education industry

- Manage the execution of key programs, ensuring timelines, budgets and deliverables are met effectively

- Lead stakeholder engagement and relationship management with internal and external partners, including international collaborations, community organizations

- Drive continuous improvement and innovation

- Stay updated with industry trends, regulatory changes and emerging technologies to inform strategic decision-making and program development

Qualifications and Skills:

- MBA from Tier-1 Institute

- Proven experience (5+ years) in strategy development, program management or consulting roles within the education sector

- Strong strategic thinking with the ability to translate insights into actionable plans and initiatives

- Experience in leading complex programs from concept to implementation, with a track record of delivering results and driving impact

- Excellent project management skills, including budget management, resource allocation and risk mitigation

- Knowledge of education industry trends, policies and regulations is highly desirable (ref:iimjobs.com)
