Position Summary  

Purpose  

Individual working in this role would be part of team providing document control and data support services to engineering division on time with high quality by ensuring that the processes are followed.

Duties & Responsibilities  

Functions

ESSENTIAL

§  Learn about various documents controller task as Transmittal. data book, data pack.

§  Get trained on software to be used to crate DC task eg. PLM. PDM.

§  Learn and use applicable codes/standards and Oceaneering or Client policies/procedures.

§  Learn and support creating report and master document list.

 

NON-ESSENTIAL

 

§  The list of job duties is not exclusive or exhaustive and the post holder will be required to undertake tasks that may reasonably be expected within the scope of the post.

§  Assist with any other duties as and when required.

§  Undertake specific projects as instructed by management.

 

Safety

Ensure that the Safety policies and procedures are understood and adhered to so far as is reasonably practicable to ensure a safe working environment.

Other

Carry out work in accordance with the Company Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Systems.

Perform the assigned tasks with due diligence regarding the Integrated Management Systems on the Company.

Eliminate waste of whatever form, to suggest the use of more environmentally friendly substances and practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of the environment.

Supervisory Responsibilities

§  This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

REQUIRED

§  Graduate Degree in an any discipline

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics

§  Basic knowledge of oil and gas domain.

§  Self-driven & positive attitude.

§  Good communicator, both written, verbal, and technical to make complex terminology simple for the benefit of others.

§  Strong analytical, problem-solving skills.

Working Conditions

This position is considered OFFICE WORK which is characterized as follows. 

§  Almost exclusively indoors during the day and occasionally at night

§  Occasional exposure to airborne dust in the workplace

§  Work surface is stable (flat)
