Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Developer with 8 to 11 years of experience in Database and SQL including ANSI SQL. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and a passion for developing high-quality software solutions. Experience in Property & Casualty Insurance is a plus. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to design develop and maintain robust database systems.


Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of database solutions to support various applications.Support BI project DeliveryDocument data lineage business logic and review with stakeholdersOptimize and Build BI model as per business needsBuild BI curation and semantic layersOversee the implementation of ANSI SQL standards in all database-related projects.Provide technical expertise in database design development and optimization.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for database solutions.Develop and maintain complex SQL queries and scripts to support business needs.Ensure data integrity and security across all database systems.Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in a timely manner.Conduct performance tuning and optimization of SQL queries and database systems.Implement best practices for database development and maintenance.Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.Mentor junior developers and provide guidance on database-related tasks.Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in database management.Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.

Qualifications

Possess a strong understanding of database design principles and best practices.Demonstrate proficiency in ANSI SQL and complex SQL query development.Have experience with database performance tuning and optimization techniques.Show expertise in troubleshooting and resolving database-related issues.Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Have excellent communication and collaboration skills.Experience in Property & Casualty Insurance is a plus.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.Ability to mentor and guide junior developers.
