The company further offers credit services like merchant loans, personal loans, and BNPL through its financial partners.
About the Team
The QR/Soundbox team is one of the biggest business and payments verticals in the organization, focused on merchant acquisition, retention, and growth in India.
About the Role
Paytm is seeking an experienced sales professional and people manager to join the QR & Sound Box vertical.
Expectations/Requirements

Grow distribution and market share in the assigned area of operations.
Increase visibility and accountability through extensive QR & Sound box deployment and product sales.
Identify and recruit a sales team to drive business in the market.
Plan market size, span, and geographies for ASMs.
Develop effective communication methods for sharing plans/targets with the team to minimize expectation vs. delivery gap.
Monitor quality parameters as suggested by management.
Validate and conduct audits on acquisitions and sales by the team.
People manage a large team of 5-10 ASMs and 200 indirect employees.

Must Have

Strong networking capabilities and willingness to travel extensively.
Coaching and mentoring skills.
Quick learner who can apply new ideas and concepts effectively.

Superpowers/Skills

Self-starters comfortable with ambiguity.
8-12 years of sales experience in B2C markets.
Passionate about working in fast-growing firms.
Strong communication and negotiation skills, experience in quota-driven sales.
Experience in payments and finance is a plus.

Education: MBA (Marketing)
