Job TitleProduction Manager /Furniture Industries/(Commercial-Interior Designing) Bhiwandi/Thane/MaharashtraDepartmentProductionRoles and ResponsibilitiesProduction :Prepare a production plan in coordination with the Sales and design teamCoordinate with the Purchase team on raw materials. Guiding Purchase department for scheduling as the production planPrepare process flow, an work instructions and continuously update the Sales, Design and Management on the progress of the projectManaging project deliverables in line with the project plan and review of drawings and specification for any queries and clarifications essential for the productionEnsure production targets are met within the constraints of the budget and optimum production is achievedEnsure that the installations manufactured are of consistent qualityHighlight technical issues and recommend probable solutions to the Sales, design and ManagementAnalyze the root cause for the rejections and the rework, customer feedback and ensure the systems are in place to prevent the reoccurrenceMeasure the cycle time and reduce the same to improve productionDevice maintenance plan for the shop floorAnalyze the requirement of new machinery to increase productivity/ new product line and accordingly present the case to Management for approval and purchase Team ManagementTrain the production team adequately on quality system, understanding of the design drawings, work instructions and quality check pointsTo maintain shop floor discipline and housekeepingMotivate shop floor team and instill teamworkTrain the team on quality and ensure that production downtime is reduced and process capability is improved. Develop the production team to be multi-skilledPeriodically generating performance report of team & provide necessary feedback / mentoring/ assistance to upscale over all team performance Team Welfare - Grievance, Communication, Motivation & Attrition Management
