Lead - Inside Sales/Customer Service - IT (4-7 yrs)

Objective:
We are seeking an experienced Inside Sales Lead with a strong background in sales and customer service to lead our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving sales results, managing teams effectively, and delivering exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of inside sales representatives, providing coaching, mentorship, and support to help them achieve individual and team sales targets.
- Develop and implement sales strategies and tactics to drive revenue growth, increase customer acquisition, and expand market share in alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Monitor sales performance metrics, including conversion rates, pipeline velocity, and quota attainment, and provide regular reports and updates to senior management.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure alignment and integration of sales efforts with broader company initiatives.
- Recruit, onboard, and train new inside sales team members, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and resources needed to succeed in their roles.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders to identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and customer advocacy.
- Provide ongoing feedback and performance evaluations to team members, recognizing achievements and addressing areas for improvement through coaching and development plans.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify opportunities and threats and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and excellence within the inside sales team, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings to promote our products and solutions and build brand awareness.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (master's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in inside sales, with a track record of success in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Proven experience managing and leading a team of inside sales representatives, ideally in a SaaS or technology-driven environment.
- Strong background in sales and customer service, with a deep understanding of sales methodologies, processes, and best practices.
- Experience in the SaaS industry is preferred; candidates with backgrounds in sales and customer service in other industries will be considered.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate complex concepts and negotiate effectively with customers and partners.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a focus on inspiring and motivating team members to achieve their full potential.
- Proficiency in sales technology tools and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to track activities, manage pipelines, and analyze performance.
- A customer-centric mindset, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences and building long-term relationships.
