Key Accountabilities

Preparation of Payroll inputs for India PayrollLiaise with the external payroll vendor for timely processing of payrollCheck payroll output reports and ensure employees' salaries are paid accurately and as per the company's policy and local statutory regulationsPrepare and create standard and adhoc reports as and when requiredResponsible for filing all the relevant documents as required under the labour lawsFiling of Monthly/ Quarterly/Yearly payroll related returns to respective authoritiesResponding to Employees’ Payroll queries.Maintain Payroll records as required by SOXWorking on the Audit documentation for PayrollIndividually handle Statutory Audits

Skills

Practical Working knowledge to utilize Excel for managing reporting files to compare data and calculationsExcellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skillsProactive and methodical approach to planning and organizing workloadPositive and self-motivated attitude towards workProven ability to manage multiple and varied tasks with enthusiasm and prioritize workloadAble to work in an autonomous fashion, but is aware of when they need to ask questions to complete high quality and complex workWorks using their initiative on a regular basisProficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.Sound analytical skills to manage payroll queries and audits


Education

Bachelor degree preferred. 

Experience

Should have at least two-three years of experience in a payroll and a strong understanding of payroll processing and tax compliance. Previous experience in other countries Payroll is preferred.
