Job Title: Head of Sales (India)
Department: Sales
Reports To: CRO
Summary :
The Head of Sales is responsible for the overall sales strategy for the company's lithium-ion cell manufacturing business in India. This includes developing and implementing sales plans, building and managing a sales team, generating new business opportunities and achieving sales and booking targets. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in the sales of technology products, especially in B2B sales on the OEM side and a deep understanding of the Indian market.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement sales plans for the company's lithium-ion cell manufacturing business in India
- Build and manage a sales team of Account Executives and Sales Development Representatives
- Generate new business opportunities through prospecting, cold calling, and networking
- Develop and maintain relationships with key customers
- Close deals and negotiate contracts
- Track and report on sales performance
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitive landscape
- Develop and execute marketing and sales campaigns
- Represent the company at industry events and trade shows
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in b2B enterprise sales, preferably in automotive/EV industry
- Proven track record of success in generating new business and closing deals
- Strong understanding of the Indian market
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
