NA Position Purpose

The candidate will be responsible as a techno functional testing resource of team for creating and executing the functional as well as regression testing suite. The candidate must have good hands-on experience on test development using – UFT tool with VBScript. The candidate must have good analytical skills and should be self-motivated, proactive and a good team player. The candidate should have experience in working effectively in fast paced environments. Candidate will also be expected to coordinate with onshore/offshore teams actively.

Responsibilities

Direct Responsibilities

·       Strong technical knowledge of UFT One and VB Script to develop, maintain & execute regression test scripts

·       Create test cases and test data as per requirements. Analyze test cases thoroughly to ensure adequate coverage of requirements.

·       Execute test cases, analyze test results, and accordingly log defects, track, and re-test defects.

·       Closely work with Dev teams/BA to resolve issues and to develop a good understanding of the project and testing objectives.

·       Share daily, weekly, monthly reports both Automation & Manual testing

·       Test Maintenance of regression suite

·       Peer review QA checks of test scripts/test execution of other analysts

·       Adhere to all testing process and to use standard templates during Releases

·       Perform other testing-related duties as required

Contributing Responsibilities

·       Participate in daily stand-up meetings

·       Involve in preparing Test Documents such as Test Plan and Closure reports for releases Technical & Behavioral Competencies

·       Around 7-10 years of relevant Techno Functional work experience

·       Strong technical knowledge of UFT tool and VB Script to develop, maintain & execute automation regression test scripts

Clear understanding of testing concepts

·       Experience in writing SQL queries for backend validation

·       Hands on experience on JIRA and Quality Centre / ALM

·       Must have good analytical skills.

Manual Testing – Investment Banking domain knowledge (Good to have) Strong in verbal and written communication Should be self-motivated and able to manage assigned testing activity individually Manage flexible timings to ensure availability during test execution phase Specific Qualifications (if required)

Bachelor/Master degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
