  • Manage import and export operations in India related to, but not limited to, the Harmonized Schedule classification, valuation and country of origin determination of Cepheidâs products
  • Analyze and interpret Indian Customs regulations and maintain current knowledge of changes
  • Maintain standards and processes for Cepheid in the APAC region and it relates to the inbound and outbound movement of goods and the oversight of customs brokers
  • Work closely with the Danaher Compliance team on regulatory updates and ongoing monitoring of compliance risk in the APAC region
  • Provide regulatory consultation and communication to stakeholders in various business functions

Experience:

  • 10+ years of import and other trade compliance experience
  • 5+ years experience with overseeing import operations, including customs brokers in the EU
  • Bachelorâs degree required
  • Minimum of 5 years of people management experience
  • Experience with Global Trade Solution management systems and ERP systems
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, especially as it relates to documenting compliance procedures/requirements
  • Audit management experience (internal or external)
