Chief Revenue Officer


We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Chief Revenue Officer to join our executive team, where they will be responsible for all revenue-generating elements within the organization. They will have ultimate accountability in aligning and building strategic partnerships with their cross-functional expertise. In addition, the Chief Revenue Officer ensures that communication and information sharing runs smoothly between departments.

A Chief Revenue Officer’s responsibilities include working with other executive team members to execute corporate strategic plans by expanding into new customer segments and partnerships.

Ultimately, you will work closely with leaders, managers, and other executives to ensure the organization achieves its goals in revenue generation throughout the year.


Key Tasks and Responsibilities

Establish sales and revenue targets, and then implement plans and initiatives intended to ensure the organization achieves those results. They lead efforts to establish new strategic partnerships and grow existing relationships, and identify opportunities for expansion into promising new areas.

Responsible for overseeing and optimizing all revenue-generating activities within a company. This includes sales, pricing, marketing, and customer support, with the goal of maximizing revenue and driving business growth through effective strategies and operations.

Partner with senior leadership to execute the current corporate strategic plan and develop additional plans

Ensure performance, strategy, and alignment of the company’s revenue-generating departments

Manage the global sales team to drive business growth across all customer segments, and share responsibility with the marketing department for improving strategy and customer experience

Help maximize reach and efficiency by adding new, scalable partners in a strategic way

Build and foster creative teams that are committed to our culture of innovation

Monitor the revenue pipeline and leads, adjusting as necessary for sustainable growth

Monitor the marketplace and analyze opportunities

Provide competitive analysis, strategies and tactics

Stay well-connected with customers to ensure broad market needs are being incorporated into product development and enhancement cycles

Collaborate with finance, product management, marketing, pricing strategies and business models

Identify and resolve issues across the marketing/sales and account management functions


Skills and Attributes Requirements

20+ years of experience & Master degree required Master’s degree (or equivalent experience) in business administration or related field

Proven work experience as a Chief Revenue Officer or similar role

Strong technical experience with Salesforce and other business productivity tools

Proven track record of growing revenue through new product development, marketing, branding and partnerships

Proven experience developing and executing business strategy

Significant general management and P&L experience

Ability to craft and execute a business strategy
