Key Responsibilities:

  1. Market Analysis:
  • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify industry trends, market opportunities, and competitive threats.
  • Analyze market conditions, including customer demographics, preferences, needs, and buying habits.
  1. Data Collection:
  • Design and implement research methodologies, such as surveys, interviews, focus groups, and questionnaires.
  • Utilize various data sources, including online databases, industry reports, and internal data.
  1. Data Analysis:
  • Use statistical software and tools (e.g., SPSS, SAS, R, Python) to analyze data and generate actionable insights.
  • Interpret complex data sets and identify patterns, trends, and correlations.
  1. Reporting:
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management, summarizing research findings and providing strategic recommendations.
  • Visualize data through charts, graphs, and other data visualization tools to facilitate understanding.
  1. Competitive Analysis:
  • Monitor competitor activities, including product launches, marketing strategies, pricing, and market positioning.
  • Conduct SWOT analysis to evaluate the company’s market position relative to competitors.
  1. Customer Insights:
  • Analyze customer feedback, reviews, and surveys to understand customer satisfaction and areas for improvement.
  • Segment customers based on behavior, demographics, and preferences to tailor marketing strategies.
  1. Collaboration:
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, sales, and digital marketing, to align research insights with business goals.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and research agencies when necessary.
  1. Trend Monitoring:
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in market research and analysis.
  • Provide thought leadership on emerging market trends and their potential impact on the business.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Marketing Research Analyst or similar role, preferably in the IT industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in statistical analysis and data visualization tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and statistical software (e.g., SPSS, SAS, R, Python).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing and web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush).
  • Familiarity with CRM software and databases.
