Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager - GSS to oversee our overseas accounting operations. The ideal candidate will be a CA Qualified professional, who can manage global accounting and financial reporting for our international business units. The role requires hands-on expertise in managing overseas financial operations, ensuring compliance with international accounting standards, and working closely with global teams.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the global accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting for international business units.
  • Lead and coordinate the month-end and year-end closing processes for international subsidiaries.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Implement and monitor financial controls, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.
  • Support the preparation of audit requirements for international entities and liaise with auditors.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including tax, treasury, and compliance, to ensure cohesive financial reporting and governance across the organization.
  • Drive continuous process improvements in financial operations and reporting.
  • Monitor and manage foreign exchange exposure and currency fluctuations for international transactions.
  • Ensure accurate consolidation of global financials into the group’s financial reporting.


Key Requirements:

  • CA Qualified (Chartered Accountant).
  • IFRS knowledge is preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in accounting, with at least 3 years focused on overseas or global accounting operations.
  • Strong understanding of international financial regulations and compliance.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Navision) and advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to work effectively with global teams.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a global shared services environment.
  • Knowledge of transfer pricing, cross-border taxation, and inter-company transactions.
  • Prior experience with ERP systems like Navision.
