This is for a multinational company's manufacturing plant.

The role reports to the Director, India Operations.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Shape and execute plant‑wide financial strategy aligned with business goals.
  • Maintain robust controls, accurate accounting and transparent reporting.
  • Lead budgets, rolling forecasts, cash flow and working‑capital management.
  • Drive cost optimisation, profitability analysis and data‑driven decision support.
  • Oversee billing, receivables, tax compliance and statutory filings.
  • Manage banking relationships, fund‑raising, project finance and investments.
  • Own SAP finance modules, ensuring data integrity and process efficiency.
  • Build predictive models; flag risks early and propose corrective actions.
  • Coach and develop a high‑performance finance team.


Must‑have skills:


  • Chartered Accountant (CA ) with 12‑16 years in plant and corporate finance.
  • Deep knowledge of Indian accounting standards and direct & indirect taxation.
  • Exposure to US GAAP and US tax compliance.
  • Hands‑on experience with SAP FICO and advanced Excel or BI tools.
  • Proven record in budgeting, FP&A, treasury and cost control.
  • Strong stakeholder management and clear, concise communication.
  • Ability to design and enforce financial policies under tight deadlines.


Nice‑to‑have skills:

  • Experience securing low‑cost funding and managing FX risk.
  • Working knowledge of digital finance automation and analytics platforms.
  • MBA (Finance) or CIMA qualification.
