We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Head- Telco to join our team and lead our sales efforts in the telco sector.


Role Overview

As a Business Head, you will be responsible for driving sales growth in our telecommunications business, with a focus on building and maintaining strategic relationships with key clients. You will report directly to the CEO and play a crucial role in achieving our ambitious growth targets.


Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Strategy Development: Create and implement effective sales strategies to double our business from ₹50-60 crore to ₹100-120 crore within the next three years.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in telco businesses, leveraging existing connections within organizations like Tech Mahindra and Comviva.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a sales and presales team of 10-12 professionals, ensuring alignment with company objectives and fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential challenges within the telco sector.
  • Sales Execution: Drive the entire sales process, from prospecting and qualification to negotiation and closing deals.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with product development and engineering teams to ensure client needs are met and solutions are tailored to the market.


Qualifications

  • Proven experience in hardcore sales within the telecommunications sector, particularly in software solutions.
  • Strong existing relationships with key players in telco companies, specifically with Tech Mahindra, Comviva, or similar organizations.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets in a competitive environment.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence decision-makers.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; an MBA is a plus.
