Business Head

The Business Head - Radiology will be responsible for driving the growth and profitability of the radiology business unit. This includes strategic planning, P&L management, market expansion, product development, partnerships, and ensuring operational efficiency. The individual will lead cross-functional teams and work closely with senior leadership to meet the company's goals in the healthcare and medical device space.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive business strategy for the radiology unit aligned with overall company objectives.
- Identify market opportunities and define the product portfolio to maximize business potential.
- Lead the development of long-term goals and strategic initiatives to drive growth and competitive advantage.
P&L Management:
- Own the P&L for the radiology business, ensuring profitability and sustainable growth.
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance to meet revenue and cost targets.
Market Development:
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning.
- Develop go-to-market strategies for new product launches and market expansion.
- Build strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), radiology departments, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders.
Sales and Marketing:
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to define sales strategies and marketing campaigns.
- Ensure that the sales team is adequately trained on radiology products and market trends.
- Drive business development efforts and close key customer contracts.
Product Management and Innovation:
- Oversee the development and introduction of new radiology products, ensuring alignment with market demands.
- Work closely with R&D and product development teams to ensure product innovations meet clinical needs.
- Stay updated on the latest radiology technologies and advances to maintain a competitive edge.
Operations and Process Optimization:
- Ensure efficient operations in production, supply chain, and distribution channels.
- Work closely with regulatory and quality teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Optimize internal processes to reduce costs and improve quality and delivery.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor a cross-functional team, including sales, marketing, product development, and operations professionals.
- Foster a high-performance culture with a focus on collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
Partnership and Alliances:
- Identify and develop strategic partnerships and alliances that enhance the company's radiology offerings.
- Negotiate and manage contracts with distributors, suppliers, and Bachelors degree in Business, Healthcare, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field. An MBA or relevant advanced degree is 12+ years of experience in the healthcare or medical devices industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within radiology or a related field.
- Proven track record of P&L management, business development, and strategic planning.
- Strong knowledge of radiology products, technology, and market trends.
- Experience in managing cross-functional teams and large-scale operations.
