Your Job Role Summary:

As the Head - Dealer Development of the 2 Wheeler Business, you will lead the Network expansion for 2W Business through market penetration in existing and new regions for potential dealers, evaluate and engage existing & new channel partners thereby increasing the overall reach to the end customers for achieving sales volumes for the organization.


Your key deliverables will be:

  • Defining the strategy for network expansion in line with the business objectives.
  • Executing dealer sales plans and strategies in line with the market share goals set for the specified timelines in domestic market.
  • Deploying both tactical and strategic go to market models created by the function to grow the dealer base both in short and long term to ensure higher revenues and retention.
  • Overseeing creation of new leads and referrals resulting from field activity.
  • Leveraging resources and supervising the team during dealer readiness assessment, negotiation, documentation, contract creation, legal conditions while onboarding new dealers into the network.
  • Creating high dealer network satisfaction by collaborating with the after sales team, product support, spare parts and other key stakeholders to provide robust sales support.
  • Providing policy interpretation, planned promotion strategies to the dealer where required to build better brand product presentation.
  • Creating and analyzing dashboards of dealers across regions to interpret sales performance alongside key parameters and take decisions to augment the value and services rendered by them to the end customers and profitability targets for the organization.
  • Sustaining ongoing communication with respective departments for the Dealer portfolio performance results.
  • Facilitating calibration meetings with the business to ensure established policy and procedures are followed by dealers.
  • Establish and manage yearly dealer sales targets and provide the company with accurate sales and inventory forecasts.
  • Establishing schemes and effective processes to manage and track performance of the dealer network for both the domestic sales and exports.
  • Supporting the marketing department to execute the plans and product launches.
  • Ensuring full & final closure of any Dealership, post resignation / termination, with complete legal formalities & timely accounts reconciliation.
