Business Development Manager – IT Outsourcing Services

Location: India

eJAmerica, a leading global IT outsourcing services company, is seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Business Development Manager to drive growth and expansion. This role involves engaging with clients for milestone-based IT projects, Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) initiatives, and IT services, operating under a managed services model.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead business development initiatives for milestone-based IT projects, BOT engagements, and managed IT services.
  • Identify and target potential clients globally using social media, industry events, and market research to generate new business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, understanding their IT outsourcing needs and aligning our services with their requirements.
  • Collaborate with delivery, operations, and technical teams to develop customized proposals and solutions tailored to client needs.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting and lead generation to proposal development, contract negotiation, and deal closure.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging technologies, incorporating insights into sales strategies.
  • Conduct market analysis and competitive assessments to identify gaps and opportunities.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts, reports, and insights to management, highlighting achievements and recommendations.
  • Engage with clients throughout project delivery, ensuring satisfaction and exploring upselling or cross-selling opportunities.
  • Represent eJAmerica at industry conferences, events, and networking forums to promote services and enhance brand visibility.
  • Travel internationally for client meetings, presentations, and negotiations.
  • Handle other strategic business development projects as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 5-10 years of experience in business development or sales within the IT outsourcing industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with a Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Strong understanding of milestone-based IT projects, BOT engagements, and managed IT services.
  • In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructures, digital workplace solutions, cybersecurity, cloud engineering, AWS, and Azure.
  • Excellent networking, relationship-building, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence key decision-makers.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and secure new business opportunities, consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex IT solutions to clients effectively.
  • Proficiency in utilizing CRM software and sales tools to manage and track sales activities.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven, with the ability to excel in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
