Roles & Responsibilities

  • concepts for High Voltage Battery Systems (Energy Storage Systems) for BEVs.
  • specifications and prepare component and system spec. books for HVB system.
  • and development of HVB system and relevant eComponents including Junction Box as per Cost, Quality and Timeline targets for all projects and PoCs.
  • First principle design calculations for estimating battery capacity and specifications.
  • technology road map for HV Battery Systems.
  • testing and release from system to Hardware-in-Loop.
  • knowledge and understanding of
  • cell chemistries and their parameters.
  • Module-to-Pack and Pack-to-System Configuration, Construction, Layout and Assembly.
  • Voltage, Capacity and Energy.
  • rate, Discharge rate, Insulation, SoC, SoH, Life cycles.
  • configuration and HV cables and LV connection to HV Battery system.
  • installation requirements.
  • understanding of Battery Management System (BMS):
  • Current, Temperature monitoring.
  • and SoH estimation.
  • and Insulation monitoring.
  • balancing.

  • diagnosis.

Technical Skill Set Required

  • understanding and experience of testing at component, system and vehicle-level.
  • experience in DFMEA, DVP and 8D.
  • in UG-NX with hands-on experience in 3D and 2D along with GD&T.
  • of Commercial Vehicle Development process.
  • experience in Electric Vehicle.


Soft Skills Required

  • of and experienced in leading a small team.
  • communication, interpersonal and co-ordination skills.
  • good skill in explaining technical concepts in power-point presentations.

Qualifications:

Mechanical / Electronics / Mechatronics / Automobile Engineering / Equivalent Degree.


Professional Experience:

6-12 years of experience in relevant industry (Commercial vehicle industry preferable).
